Our very first Crave location opened in Castle Rock on the Fourth of July in 2010. We didn’t make a big deal on opening day and figured our food and service would speak for themselves. We figured it right! The contemporary diner atmosphere and creative food offerings were a hit.
Not many people know this now, but the Castle Rock location was originally named “Crave Real Food,” and was open for breakfast in addition to lunch and dinner. It didn’t take long for us to realize that our awesome burgers were usually the reason people came in, so we changed our hours and renamed the restaurant!
Though it’s our smallest location, it’s the closest to our hearts. Crave Real Burgers – Castle Rock has a wonderful neighborhood feel and a covered outdoor patio. The open kitchen is closer to our patrons, too, so guests immediately see the friendliness and family vibe our chefs and employees show. Big plus: it’s really close to the movie theaters. This location is the perfect place to have a bite before or after visiting the big screen!
The Colorado Springs location was our second – we were determined to branch out and show more of Colorado what we’re about! Colorado Springs seemed like a great place to add on, and boy was it!
We are located less than a mile from the Air Force Academy in the Springs, and being there for our military friends has been amazing and so rewarding. We love when the AFA folks show up! (We also give a 10% military discount at every location, by the way!) And the restaurant is right on Academy Blvd. near tons of shopping options and other local businesses, so you can have your cake and eat it too.
Whether military or not, stop by with the fam sometime soon, and we’ll hook it up!
