For the months of November and December, a portion of each special charity burger will be donated to Angels of America’s Fallen.  Angels of America’s Fallen supports the children of military and first responders who gave their life for the service of our country. A child should not be defined by the death of their parent or the outcome it may bring. The program is a fit for every individual child by allowing and encouraging them to do what they choose and love in a discipline as unique as they are.  It furnishes the child individually to allow them to strengthen, learn, express and grow. Designed to be more than a short-term offering, counseling, camp or trip, the investment is continual with prolonged development of coaching, mentoring, life lessons, skills, passion, participation, endurance and resiliency.

This organization strives to make a connection through giving in service daily, weekly and long-term. Angels of America’s Fallen engages the participation of each child through the entirety of their childhood years, through the age of 18, because grief is not a one-time encounter but rather surfaces throughout their life. Angels of America’s Fallen is an investment for the duration of their upbringing, to “stand beside the children every year until adulthood”.

Founded by a military veteran, who served in three separate branches of the military, and his wife, they sought to create an establishment for the children who were left grieving. In the month of September alone, Angels of America’s Fallen supported over 1100 individual art, music and sport sessions.

This month’s special burger is the Big Jim Chile Relleno Burger with fresh, fire-roasted, tempura fried Colorado Big Jim chilies, Monterey Jack cheese and house made salsa roja on a Colorado proud burger. Come in and try this tasteful, limited time offering and support a great cause.

Now through December 29th, a dollar will be donated to Angels of America’s Fallen by purchasing the charity burger of the month.  Also, the Colorado Springs Crave location will be hosting a Charity Night on Wednesday, December 10th, with 20% of the proceeds from attendees going directly to Angels of America’s Fallen.  “Help them write their own stories of success.”

Let’s pay it forward to the children! “With your help, we’re fueling these kids dreams beyond the ultimate loss.”  Visit www.aoafallen.org for some inspiring angel stories.
